HEARTS FOR UKRAINE.. the idea was spawned two years ago in Ms. Downey’s Magnet class at Birch Lane Elementary School. It made all the sense in the world to start the sculpture’s journey here. What a great afternoon we had, spending time with Ms. Downey, Principle Aspetti, and Vice Principle Larkin.

Those with a keen eye will notice “MAKE ART NOT WAR” has been replaced with “KINDNESS HOPE LOVE” for this installation. Kindness is the ethos of Birch Lane Elementary School; Ryan wanted to honor his school while staying true to the essence of the sculpture.
